Hurricane Matthew Aftermath
After A Storm, We're Here For You!
10/8/2016 – Hurricane Matthew. Our Joyner Electric & Security crew was clearing trees out of roads to reach our customers.[/caption]
Our area took a beating from hurricane Matthew. We are currently in recovery mode and I am so proud of our community. Kudos to all of you who are helping your neighbors with their troubles.
First day after the storm, we were called out for service calls… generators needed servicing, houses that were hit had wires sticking out all over the place, security systems were chirping from low battery alarms, and more! We had to clear trees from roads to even get to our customers. Again, we are so proud of our community. Working alongside us, people on the street came out with chainsaws and tractors to help move debris and trees blocking the streets. Check out a couple of our videos from the clean-up.
Now, our area is pretty much fully accessible with a few exceptions. Last night, Chatham county residents were allowed back in and many found their homes in disrepair and came back to no power. Much of our area still has no power and it may be the case you just need to wait for the power company to restore power. However…
If your home is not power ready and your electrical system was affected by the hurricane, we can help. We are licensed, insured, and we will treat you right and not take advantage in this tough time. We’ve been warned about price gougers and people coming in doing electrical work that isn’t licensed for our area.
Our business place is still without power but that isn’t keeping us from serving our community. We offer 24/7 Emergency electrical service so please don’t hesitate to call.
