Cost Effective Lighting
LED is the clear winner in the chart. CFL comes in 2nd and incandescent is the outdated energy hog. While compact florescent lamps may be energy efficient, they contain mercury which means they need to to be handled with care and disposed of properly. LEDs are durable, power up quickly, aren’t effected by cycling on and off quickly and give off little heat.
