EV Charger FAQs
Most residential Level 2 charger installations range from $400–$1,200 for the electrical work, not including the charger unit. Cost depends on your panel’s capacity, distance from the panel, and whether a panel upgrade is needed. Call us for a free estimate.
Not always. Homes with 200-amp service usually have enough capacity. Older homes with 100-amp service may need an upgrade. We assess your panel during the free estimate.
Level 1 uses a 120V outlet — full charge takes 24+ hours. Level 2 uses a dedicated 240V circuit and charges in 4–8 hours overnight.
Yes — ChargePoint, JuiceBox, Grizzl-E, Emporia, Wallbox, and Tesla Wall Connectors. If you’ve already purchased one, we can install it.
If the municipality requires permitting for EV Chargers, we will pull a permit and coordinate inspections.
